Form 18th-19th September, sponsored by China Metallurgy Newspaper Office, China Iron & Steel Mergers and Acquisitions Forum 2008 held in Beijing, By invitation, Vice President Li Zhimin attended it and delivered a keynote speech.This forum is supported and guided by SASAC, Commerce of PRC, DRC, CISA; which attracted a large number of domestic iron & steel industrial enterprises and related organizations participated on it. Heads of SASAC and other government organizations; Baosteel, WISCO, Sinosteel, Hebei Steel, Shandong Steel, Arcelor Mittal also delivered their speeches one after another on the forum.
Vice President Li said Sinosteel would like to grasp the strategic opportunities of iron & steel industrial mergers and acquisitions, build up a producer service enterprise in iron & steel with international competitive, realize each other’s advantages and positive interaction with iron & steel producers, work together to promote sustainable and healthy development of China iron & steel industry.
