On the afternoon of 9th October, Dongfang Electric Corporation DEC General Manager Si Zefu and his entourage paid a special visited to Sinosteel and expressed his sincere gratitude to the great support and disinterested assistance from Sinosteel. President Huang Tianwen and Secretary Zhang Hanguang had a cordial meeting with the delegation.On 12th May, the 8.0-magnitude quake hit Wenchuan County of Sichuan Province; DEC suffered a serious loss of life and property. For support the earthquake-relief work and post-disaster reconstruction, Sinosteel leadership of the Party and politics held a urgent meeting and donated one million Yuan to help DEC with its restore production and life, tide over the difficulty as soon as possible.
GM Si Zefu said in the earthquake relief work, DEC fully felt the warmth from the big family of central enterprises represented by Sinosteel, this trip came to express their sincere gratitude to Sinosteel. He said that now DEC make continued efforts in the disaster-relief and the reconstruction after the earthquake, DEC will restore production as soon as possible and do well on corporation development, will not be unworthy of all expectations.
President Huang Tianwen expressed his highest consideration to the dauntless spirit from DEC in the earthquake relief work. He hoped the little strength provided by Sinosteel can help and go through the difficult period, also expressed his willingness to further develop on the cooperation with DEC.
Before the meeting, accompanied by President Huang Tianwen and Secretary Zhang Hanguang, GM Si Zefu and his entourage visited Sinosteel exhibition room.
The entourage also included heads of DEC related departments.
