On the morning of February 10, Sinosteel Cooperation Limited signed a strategic cooperation agreement with E-United Group Taiwan. Later on the afternoon, Sinosteel Chairman Huang Tianwen and E-United Group Chairman Lin Yishou and their entourages paid a special visit to Chairman of Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits ARATS Chen Yunlin and Deputy Director of Taiwan Affairs Office of State Council Zheng Lizhong; which reported on related situation of the establishment of the strategic cooperation agreement. Chairman Chen and Deputy Director Zheng expressed their sincere gratitude to the cooperation between Sinosteel and E-United and their highly appraise.Chairman Chen expressed that the two firms' cooperation amid the economic crisis reflected forward-looking strategies and would promote cross-straits economic cooperation.
Deputy Director Zheng Lizhong said that on the basis of the preliminary good cooperation, the establishment of the strategic cooperation agreement would initiate the new stage of cross-straits steel and iron enterprises in comprehensive, wide-ranging and multi-level cooperation.
