On morning of March 1, Sinosteel Corporation (Sinosteel) signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Company Ltd. (TISCO). Sinosteel President Tianwen Huang, Vice President Zhimin Li, heads of related functional departments and subsidiaries attended the ceremony. TISCO Board Chairman Chuanping Chen, GM Xiaobo Li and heads of related departments also attended the ceremony. During the signing ceremony, Sinosteel President Huang Tianwen, TISCO Board Chairman Chuanping Chen delivered addressed, greeting for the establishment of the strategic cooperation partnership on behalf of both parties, and prospect on further operation, then signed on the agreement. Sinosteel Trading Company GM Yi Li, TISCO Stainless Steel Company GM Xiaobo Li signed on the LongTerm Purchases and Sales of Channar Agreement on behalf of each party.
After the establishment of the strategic cooperation partnership between Sinosteel and TISCO, both parties will exert the overall advantages on further all-round cooperation in multi-levels and in broader areas for making up each other’s shortcomings and co-development, which contributes to healthy, sustainable and stable development of our national steel industry and regional economic development in Shanxi on new prosperity.
