On the afternoon of June 23, Vice President Li Zhimin met with the delegation led by Mr. Gert Skold, Vice President of Sandvik Mining and Construction in Sinosteel headquarter.Firstly Vice President Li Zhimin warmly welcomed to Mr. Gert Skold and his group and introduced on Sinosteel’ s developing history, strategic orientation, three core businesses, five industries and developing goals, especially on its advantages on mineral resources development and mining equipment manufacture. He expressed that Sinosteel has cooperation base with Sandvik in mining equipment research and manufacture, Sinosteel Hengyang Machinery Co., Ltd. has the top mineral and metallurgy equipment and casting center in produce, management, arts and crafts, and technique. He wishes both parties grasp opportunities, strengthen communication, further promote the cooperation in all areas.
Mr. Gert Skold also presented an introduction of Sandvik Mining and Construction, according to this visit, he hopes Sandvik will construct the cooperation relationship with Sinosteel Hengyang Machinery Co., Ltd. in demand of machineries and castings, and expected at further extensive cooperation with Sinosteel.
After the meeting, Mr. Gert Skold and his group visited Sinosteel exhibition room. Heads of Development & Management Dept., Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co. and Sinosteel Hengyang Machinery Co., Ltd. also attended the meeting.
