Deputy General Manager Li Bo of China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group visited the Sinosteel Corp

    On June 24, Xu Siwei, the Secretary of the Party Committee and the General Manager of the Sinosteel Corp. and Zhang Jinghua, Deputy General Manager of the Sinosteel Corp. met with Li Bo, the visiting Deputy General Manager of the China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group respectively. Both parties conducted friendly discussions and communications on further strengthening cooperation.   

    General Manager Xu and Deputy General Manager Li fully exchanged views on development trends of steel industry, enterprise strategy, cooperation between powerful SOEs, demonstrating strong will to further strengthen all-round cooperation.  

    In meeting with Deputy General Manager Li Bo, General Manager Zhang made a brief introduction about the development strategy and operation model of the Sinosteel Corp. expressing his willingness on behalf of the Sinosteel Corp. to further enhance exchanges and carrying out more layers of in-depth cooperation with China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group so as to give play to each other’s advantages and realize effective combination of scientific research ability and trade service. Li Hongxia, deputy chief engineer of Sinosteel Corp. attended the meeting. 

     Deputy General Manager Li Bo introduced to General Manager Zhang about the enterprise in terms of scientific research and development, operation model, mechanism transformation, etc. and indicated that China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group attaches great attention in seeking breakthrough in trade service in the meantime of promoting high-end technology research in a continuous way in hope that it could conduct an in-depth communication and cooperation with the Sinosteel Corp. in R&D, material supply, technology service, etc. so as to realize mutual benefit and win-win development.  

    Responsible persons in charge of the Strategic Development Department of China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group, the International Trade Company of China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group, the General Craft Institute of the China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group and Xinye Company visited as accompany. The participants of the meeting also exchange views about some technological issues including further processing of steel materials.
