On 30th August, 2008, Chinese Enterprise Confederation, Chinese Enterprise Directors Association jointly held 2008 Top 500 China Enterprises Release Conference and Corporations Summit was held in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, which announced the 2008 Top 500 Chinese enterprises list.According to the international current mode, the 2008 Top 500 Chinese enterprises listed by the total revenue in 2007. Sinosteel was ranked number 33rd. Since 2005, Sinosteel was ranked from number 131 to 88, then to 60, now up to 33 year after year.
Meanwhile, Sinosteel was ranked number 15th on the top 500 Chinese Service Enterprise, rather than the 28th in last year.
Sinosteel was firstly entered into the 200 Chinese Enterprise Beneficial and 200 Ratepaying, which ranked number 102nd and 131st.
