Good evening!
On the occasion that Spring Festival 2005 is nearing, it’s my great honor to be part of this celebration. I’m pleased to have got to know some new faces while enjoying the friendship with many old friends, in particular the former leaders I used to work for.
Sinosteel Corporation is an integrated SOE of resources, trading and technology. Since its establishment good partnership has been cultivated between Sinosteel and major Chinese steel mills, among which the cooperation with Shou Gang Steel has witnessed further advancement these few years with a joint venture being established in 2004.
The year 2004 is a critical turning point for Shou Gang Steel as we are undergoing restructuring. Nevertheless I’m confident that the restructured Shou Gang Steel will turn on a new dynamic look.
Here I would extend my congratulations on the good performance of Sinosteel in 2004 and wish a more successful year in 2005. Last but not least, may I wish all the guests a Happy Chinese New Year of Rooster!
