Recently, Sinosteel Corporation formally released 2012 Sustainability Report of Sinosteel Corporation, the sixth annual sustainability report in the six straight years.
Based on the framework mainly consisting of “Value Industry Chain”, “Green Service Chain” and “Harmonious Win-win Chain”, the report concluded and reviewed Sinosteel Corporation’s social responsibility practice in terms of responsibility governance, value creation, technological innovation, safe production, energy conservation and environment protection, risk management, informatization, employees’ development and community service, etc. , systematically described the Corporation’ concepts, goals, measures, performance and typical cases in terms of transformation of economic development mode, improvement of operation quality and promotion of sustainable development, and fully and objectively reflected the Corporation’s active exploration efforts in promoting sustainable development of economy, environment and society. The report was honorably rated as four-star excellent responsibility report by the assessment group of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
