On the morning of March 2, 2006, president Huang Tianwen led a delegation inspecting Tianjin Binhai New Area. He met vice director of Tianjin Municipal People’s Government Office Li Bingyuan, vice director of Tianjin Development and Reform Commission Hu Quan, vice director of the Economic Cooperation Office of Tianjin Municipal Government Luo Ting, vice director of Binhai New Area Administrative Committee Song Lianxin and vice governor of Tanggu District Wang Zhengshan. Vice president Jiang Hong, vice president Li Zhimin, chief accountant Liu Andong and heads of President’s Office, Human Resources Dept., Accounting and Finance Dept., Development and Management Dept., International Cooperation Dept., Legal Affairs Dept., Sinosteel Investment Company and Sinosteel Tianjin Company also joined the visit. Located in the center of Bohai Seaside, Tianjin Binhai New Area is major channel of our national Open-Up and the important hub with convenient transport net. Accompanied by leaders of Tianjin, Binhai New Area and Tanggu, president Huang Tianwen and his delegation also visited the Binhai New Area Programming exhibition and went to Xiangluowan Bay to carry out spot inspection. By the relative introduction, both sides reached an agreement in consolidating cooperation between Sinosteel and Tianjin & Binhai New Area and promoting Tianjin economic development and its social stability.
