On the morning of December 11th, University of Science and Technology Beijing USTB President Xu Jinwu and his entourage visited Sinosteel. Group President Huang Tianwen, Secretary of the Party Zhang Hanguang met with the delegation; both parties exchanged views on the issues of cooperation.On behalf of Sinosteel, President Huang Tianwen warm welcomed to President Xu Jinwu and his entourage, he introduced Sinosteel’ s corporate orientation, development strategic, five industries, strategic cooperation and relevant situation, and under the current situation, Sinosteel takes positive measure to deal with the financial crisis. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to the support from USTB for a long time and wishes further consolidate and expand on the development of cooperative relations between both parties, with the aid of excellent R & D capability of USTB, promote on the development of industrialization product of Sinosteel, transform scientific research technology into the advantages on production area, exert each other’s effort on national economic construction.
President Xu Jinwu also expressed his sincere gratitude to the warm received by Sinosteel and his admiration on the success of leapfrog development made by Sinosteel in recent years, he introduced USTB’ s historic evolution, scientific research idea, organizations, person with ability training and so on. He hopes USTB will transport more talent people for Sinosteel, meet the needs of Sinosteel ‘s development, so as to realize win-win cooperation.
Before the meeting, accompanied by President Huang Tianwen, Secretary Zhang Hanguang and other leaders, President Xu Jinwu and his entourage visited Sinosteel exhibition room and informationizaiton room.
The entourage also included Vice President Xie Jianxin, Zhang Yue, and heads from Party Committee Office, President’s Office, Science & Technology Section, Graduate School, Admission & Employment Department, and relevant colleges.
