On September 27, the signing ceremony of Sinosteel --- Hansteel Group Strategic Cooperation Agreement and for cooperation in iron ore and steel products business was held in Sinosteel headquarters. Xu Siwei, Sinosteel Secretary of the CPC party committee, and General Manager of the joint-stock company, and Guo Jingrui, general manager of Hansteel Group attended the ceremony and addressed respectively.
As per the Agreement, both parties will further strengthen full cooperation in iron ore, steel, coke, iron alloy, fireproofing, lump-sum contracting and equipment spare parts and finance based on existing business, give play to respective advantages, and realize mutual benefit and win-win result. Meanwhile, they will actively explore the junction in other business scope, and further promote deepening cooperation in more lines of business.
Before the ceremony, General Managers Xu Siwei held talks with Guo Jingrui in a cordial and friendly atmosphere. Both expressed that, under current conditions that domestic economy develops slowly, and the iron and steel industry faces severe challenges, the two parties should increase communication, understanding and cooperation, and collaborate with each other to gain more benefits. By this time, signing strategic cooperation and cooperative agreement in related business is even more significant, conducive to boosting bilateral cooperation to stride to a new level, and coping with the market challenge and opportunities faced by both sides.
