On the morning of October 10, Eric Ripper, Deputy Premier of Western Australia; Geoff Raby, Ambassador of Australia visited Sinosteel. President Huang Tianwen met with visitors and exchanged views on Sinosteel’s related investment projects in Western Australia.
First President Huang warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his sincere gratitude to Deputy Premier and Ambassador. He introduced his Australia trip during September, especially a series of important activities. President Huang said that as one of Chinese enterprises that first invest in Western Australia with the largest scale, he also expressed his sincere gratitude to the support from Western Australia Government for Sinosteel’s development in Australia in the past 20 years. This trip for Deputy Premier Eric Ripper to Sinosteel will promote the economic trade cooperation between Sinosteel and Western Australia, he believe the further cooperation between the two parties will scored great successes.
Deputy Premier Eric Ripper expressed that there is a centuries-old cooperation history between Sinosteel and Western Australia, Channar Iron Ore Mine is become an example for Sino-Australia economic trade cooperation. Western Australia Government will give support to Sinosteel’s investment in all-round areas in Western Australia.
Before the meeting, accompanied by President Huang, the delegation visited Sinosteel exhibition room.
