On the morning of September 26, President Huang Tianwen met the Australian Ambassador to China H.E. Geoff Raby in Embassy of Australia.
President Huang introduced Chinese President Hu Jintao attended the 15th Economic Leader’s Informal Meeting of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation in the fist ten days of September, the framework agreement of Channar JV Extension Cooperation with Rio Tinto Ltd. and the contract of West Australia Railway and Oakajee Port Project. President Huang expressed his sincere gratitude to the concern and support from Ambassador Geoff Raby and Embassy of Australia in China for all these years. He said Sinosteel has kept friendly closed relationship with Embassy of Australia. Sinosteel would like to further expand and strengthen on the communication and cooperation with Embassy of Australia, and push forward the economic cooperation partnership with Australian enterprises.
Ambassador Geoff Raby said the investment in Australia by Sinosteel, have a significant meaning in promote local economic development, Embassy of Australia admired these investment, embassy will provide qualified service and create sound investing condition for Sinosteel.
