On the afternoon of May 17, 2007, President Huang Tianwen met Chairman Andrew Forrest and his delegation of FMG Corporation and KPG in room 3811, Sinosteel headquarters.
President Huang expressed his welcomed to the delegation, he introduced Sinosteel’s performance on the reform development in the recent years, especially on industrial influence, business characteristics, strategic cooperation, mining resources exploitation, company united reform, operating financial market, then he pointed out his opinions on the cooperation between the parties. He said that China have a brilliant economic development foreground, the requirement in iron ore will be a long period of time by Chinese iron & steel industry. Now, the cooperation of the parties is just on time.
Mr. Andrew Forrest expressed his sincerely gratitude to the warmly welcome by President Huang. He said that Sinosteel had fast developed in the recent years leading by President Huang, which is a model for FMG. FMG will always welcome the cooperation with Sinosteel.
Before the meeting, Mr. Andrew Forrest and his delegation visited Sinosteel exhibition room.
