On the morning of October 16, Mr. Huang Tianwen, Chairman of Sinosteel Corporation Limited met with Mr. Zhou Chunyu, Mayor of Ma’anshan Municipal Government and his delegation. The two sides exchanged views on the matter of further mutual cooperation.
Chairman Huang extended gratitude to Ma’anshan Municipal Government for its long-term support and assistance, and briefly introduced Sinosteel’s five major industries, strategic cooperation and its performance in responding to the challenge of financial crisis. Chairman Huang expressed that as to a regional company such as Sinosteel Ma’anshan Institute of Mining Research Co., Ltd., a genuine rapid development needed not only the support from HQ, but also constant improvement of regional government and the company itself. Sinosteel would like to deepen and widen cooperation with Ma’anshan Municipal Government and contribute to a mutual prosperity and win-win partnership.
Mr. Zhou Chunyu appreciated the warm reception from Sinosteel and briefed the resources advantages and economic development in Ma’anshan. He indicated that Ma’anshan attached importance to the cooperation with Sinosteel and it would unleash potentialities, optimize mechanism, widen cooperative scope and facilitate Sinosteel’s rapid development.
