On the Morning of July 26, 2007, President Jiang Hong met Mr. Shava, Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe in China Zimbabwe Embassy, the two parties have had a friendly talk on the relative investment.
Vice President Jiang Hong introduced Sinosteel’s operating development, structure organization, industrial distribution, and overseas resources development, then also expressed that Sinosteel would like to invest in Zimbabwe. Ambassador Shava warm welcomed to Vice President Jiang Hong. He pointed out that with the good relationship in politics and economy between China and Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe government full welcomes Chinese enterprises invest in Zimbabwe on the base of peace, friendship, equality and win-win so as to realize co-development. The government and the embassy in China would support and help in the business investment of Sinosteel in Zimbabwe.
Heads of International Cooperation Dept., Mining Company and relatives also attended the meeting.
