On night of December 12, Sinosteel Corporation signed Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Government (abbreviated as Municipality Government) and Xinjiang Tacheng Administration Government Office (abbreviated as Tacheng Administrative Office) in Xinjiang Guesthouse. The ceremony was presided by Xinjiang Municipality Government Vice Chairman Chen Lei. On the signing ceremony, Xinjiang Municipality Government Vice Chairman Hu Wei, Sinosteel President Huang Tianwen, Tacheng Government Secretary Peng Jiarui delivered speeches for each side. Then Sinosteel President Huang Tianwen, Xinjiang Municipality Government Vice Chairman Hu Wei signed on the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between Sinosteel and Municipality Government; Sinosteel Chief Accountant Liu Andong, Tacheng Government Vice Secretary Zhang Qizhou signed on the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between Sinosteel and Tacheng Administration Office.
The establishment of the strategic cooperation agreement, which is according to the strategic deploy of “Western Completely Exploitation” by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, Sinosteel will keep on expanding and consolidating the communication and cooperation between central enterprises and Xinjiang Municipality enterprises to promote the Municipality economic development and social harmonious.
According to those agreements structures, Sinosteel will fully exerting its advantages in capital, resources, market, management, person of abilities, and so on, which will further expand and consolidate the communication and cooperation with Xinjiang Municipality Government, Tacheng Administrative Office in resources, mine, metallurgy raw materials, reform enterprises, energy conservation, environmental protection and so on.
