Recently UN Global Compact China-Japan-Korea Network Meeting was held in Seoul, Korea. Sinosteel, member enterprise of UN Global Compact as well as the representative of China Network Center, was invited to the meeting. Secretary of the Board of Directors of Sinosteel Corporation Limited Mr. Li Kejie attended the meeting and delivered speech.
Sinosteel joined the Global Compact in March, 2008, and became the partisan of Global Compact China Network in April, 2009. Sinosteel attaches great importance to participate in the course of building the sustainable developing economy, strictly follows the rules of Global Compact and vigorously strengthen the building a social responsibility system. Recently, Sinosteel released “Sinosteel Sustainability Report” “Sustainability African Report” etc. which gives full explanation to the detailed measures of Sinosteel’s practice in the field of CSR, and aroused concern from all walks of life. Sinosteel will continue to integrate the concepts of sustainable development to daily operation and management, contributing to the prosperity of the world economy.
