On the afternoon of the 21st July 2008, Vice President Li Zhimin met with the delegation led by Secretary-General of China Electronic Materials Yuan Tong. Firstly Vice President Li warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his sincere gratitude to the support and concern from China Electronic Materials on multicrystal silicon industrial project. On the meeting, Vice President Li introduced Sinosteel’ s business plate and its characteristic, the development achievement in the recent year, especially on the prospects of multicrystal silicon industrial on the use of new and high technologies in all types of industrial production. He said that Sinosteel will motivated by a high jumping-off point, through import, integration and upgrade international advanced technology and equipment, keeping sustainability competition in the industry. Secretary-General Yuan expressed his admiration on the achievement made by Sinosteel on its leap-forward development in recent years, been approval of Sinosteel on its development of multicrystal silicon industrial and other use of new and high technologies in all types of industrial production, he hoped to grasp the fast developing opportunities of multicrystal silicon industry and photovoltaic industry, so as to realized the industrialization of multicrystal silicon.After the meeting, Secretary-General Yuan and his group visited Sinosteel exhibition room.
