On the morning of October 22, Mr. Huang Tianwen, Chairman of Sinosteel Corporation Limited met with Mr. John R. Wells, President of International Institute for Management Development abbreviated as IMD and his delegation. The two sides exchanged views on issues of common concern.
Chairman Huang firstly expressed welcome to Prof. John R. Wells and his delegation. He gave high remarks on IMD’s achievements and influence in recent years and briefly introduced Sinosteel. He expected that the two sides would enhance communication, learn from each other and share advanced management experience, which may help to effectively handle problems and challenges in development and contribute to a sustainable and sound development of China Economy and World Economy.
Prof. John R. Wells appreciated Sinosteel’s warm reception and gave high appraisal to Sinosteel’s marvelous achievements in the span of rapid development, especially the emphasizing of harmonious community construction and environmental protection in the process of carrying out globalization strategy. “IMD had formed long-term cooperation with more than 200 high-ranking transnational corporations” said Prof. John R. Wells, “it is hopeful for us to strengthen communication with Sinosteel and create a mutual development. May every aspect in Sinosteel reach world leading level!”
