On the morning of January 19, Northeastern University President He Yicheng and his entourage visited Sinosteel. Group President Huang Tianwen met with the delegation; both parties exchanged views on the issues of cooperation. Secretary of the Party Zhang Hanguang and other leaders of Sinosteel Corporation Limited also attended the meeting.On behalf of Sinosteel, President Huang Tianwen warm welcomed to President He Yicheng and his entourage, he introduced Sinosteel’ s corporate orientation, operation principle, development strategic, five industries, and under the current situation, Sinosteel takes positive measure to deal with the financial crisis. He hopes with the scientific research advantages of Northeastern University, Sinosteel will have a better development. With Chinese New Year’s coming, President Huang also gives his best wishes to Northeastern University on its greater successes in the New Year.
President He Yicheng also expressed his sincere gratitude to the warm received by Sinosteel and his admiration on the success of leapfrog development made by Sinosteel in recent years, he introduced Northeastern University’s scientific research idea, project R & D, person with ability training and so on. He said that Northeastern University would transport more talent people for Sinosteel, meet the needs of Sinosteel ‘s development. He also hopes both parties will further strengthen on the cooperation with Sinosteel, expand cooperation areas, effectively exert each other’s advantages, so as to realize win-win.
Before the meeting, accompanied by President Huang Tianwen and other leaders, President He Yicheng and his entourage visited Sinosteel exhibition room and informationizaiton room.
The entourage also included Vice President Wang Wanshan; and heads from Graduate School, President’s Office, Science & Technology Section, Alumni Office, Student Guidance Service Center and relevant colleges.
