On the morning of February 12, Sinosteel Corporation signed the Overseas Uranium Resource Development Strategic Cooperation Agreement with China National Nuclear Corporation in Diaoyutai State Gueshouse. The signing ceremony was attended by Sinosteel President Tianwen Huang, CNNC General Manager Rixin Kang, who also delivered speeches. Then representing of each side, President Tianwen Huang & General Manager Rixin Kang signed on the agreement.
On September last year, Sinosteel Corporation signed the MOU with Australian PepinNini Mineral Limited, then on the February 7 this year, the Investment Cooperation Agreement been signed between the two parties. Which is Sinosteel have carried out overseas mine resources development demand from the Central Committee of the Party and the State Council, and put into effect in the result of Premier Jiabao Wen visited Australia on April last year, promoting “Go Global” strategic, participating in international competition, which is the important movement of National economic development in overseas resources strategic.
The establishment of strategic cooperation partnership will effectively exert each other’s advantages and further consolidate extensive, all-round and deep cooperation to make up each other’s shortcomings, realize win-win and contribute to the sustainable, harmonious and healthy development of our national nuclear industry, economic, society, and environment.
