On the morning of July 9, 2007, Sinosteel Corporation signed an Economic & Technical Cooperation Agreement with Jiangxi Government in Nanchang. Sinosteel President Huang Tianwen and Jiangxi Vice Governor Hong Lihe signed on the agreement on behalf of each party. Then, Sinosteel President Huang Tianwen and NERIN President Zhang Xiaobo signed a Stock Right Cooperation Agreement on behalf of each party. Jiangxi Vice Secretary-General Zhang Taosheng, Sinosteel Vice President Li Zhimin attended the signing ceremony, and the other attendees of the signing ceremony also included heads of related departments of Jiangxi Government, heads of Jiangxi other industrial companies, and Sinosteel heads of related departments, specialized companies, scientific & technological companies, production companies.
Before the signing ceremony, Jiangxi Governor Wu Xinxiong met Sinosteel’s delegation. Governor Wu talked with President Huang. He introduced the recent development in Jiangxi, and been admiring of the achievement made by Sinosteel in the recent years, he expressed his willingness to further consolidate extensive, all-round and deep cooperation with Sinosteel, which is welcomed to participate in the economic construction in Jiangxi.
During the visit in Jiangxi, President Huang and his delegation visited Jiangxi SASAC, and NERIN as well.
