According to the policy of “Prevention prior, Combining prevention and detection”, Sinosteel cooperated closely with Haidian Public Security Bureau Fire Department, and held a fire drill on May the 7th, to ensure the risk-combating ability and the safety of staffs and properties. Secretary Zhang Hanguang of Sinosteel, and vice-president of Sinosteel Corporation Limited Mr. Gong Jingsheng watched the fire drill.
The fire drill lasted for 40 minutes, with a stimulated fire occasion happened on the 18th floor. After discovering the fire, Sinosteel Plaza started the fire evacuation pre-arranged plan. While the employees inside the building evacuated quickly out the building, the volunteer fire brigade started rescue work as well. With close cooperation, the fire drill successfully accomplished all kinds of maneuvering including rescuing through escape chute, water spray for fire control etc.
The successfully held of this fire drill not only raised Sinosteel employees’ anti-risk awareness, but also tested the fire-fighting equipments thoroughly.
