Sinosteel Corporation Supporting WA Ballet Ensemble October Touring Performances to China, Sinosteel Australia Attending the Ballet Ensemble Reception

On the evening of Oct. 4, 2005, AC Governor of WA Mr. John Sanderson and his wife Mrs. Lorraine Sanderson hosted a reception for the departing ballet ensemble to China in their official residence. Nearly 70 persons coming from the government, cooperating partners of the WA Ballet Ensemble and from the business circle attended the reception, including Minister for Culture and the Arts Her Excellency Ms. Sheila McHale, Chinese Consul General in Perth Mr. Zhong Ziqi, General Manager of Hamersley Iron Pty Ltd. Mr. David Smith, CFO of Rio Tinto Mr. Philip Mitchell, Chairman of Mineralogy Pty. Ltd. Mr. Clive Palmer, Executive President of Fortesque Metals Group (FMG) Mr. Andrew Forrest, Executive President of Midwest Corporation Ltd. Ms. Jyn Sim Baker and Director Mr. Michael Howard.   In order to consolidate the relations with WA government and expand the influence of Sinosteel in Sino-Australian economic and cultural communications, Sinosteel Corporation decided to sponsor the WA Ballet Ensemble touring performances in China. General Manager of Sinosteel Australia, Mr. Cui Xiaofei attended the reception on invitation. On the reception, Mr. Cui Xiaofei communicated with related officials and miner heads. The WA Ballet Ensemble and other guests expressed their gratitude to and highly praised Sinosteel in promoting Sino-Australian cultural communications.
