 On the morning of January 12, Annual Meeting of Sinosteel Corporation, 2005 was held in Beijing. Mr Yian Jiao, president of State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), Mr Baozhong Wu, director of Office 52 of the Working Bureau of Supervisory Panels, and Mr Xuefan Yu, leader of the Second Bureau for the Administration of Corporate Executives, SASAC, attended the meeting. There are altogether over 500 persons who have attended the meeting in the morning, including general managers, vice general managers from the wholly invested or minor share-holding companies, project managers from business departments in some companies, persons in charge of overseas organizations and all the staff in Beijing.
The meeting was held by Mr Lin He, vice president. Mr Tianwen Huang delivered the work report.
In the report, Mr Huang made a comprehensive introduction on the indices in 2004, the general operating situation, existing problems, the restrictions on the long-term development, the economic situation & market analysis in 2005 and the work arrangement in 2005 of Sinosteel Corporation.
