	Ferrosilicon is the earliest and the most primary products of ferroalloy industry. In steel making, Ferrosilicon is used as deoxidizer and additive for alloy element. Silicon is easy to combine with oxygen so it can be used as deoxidizer almost in making all sorts of steel except rimming steel.

	Ferromanganese, a ferroalloy with high content of manganese, is made by heating a mixture of the oxides MnO2 and Fe2O3, with carbon in a furnace. They undergo a thermal decomposition reaction. and are used as deoxidizer for steel.

	Ferrotitanium is the deoxidizer in steel-making, and it is also the additive for eliminating the gas and alloy element.

	Ferrotungsten is used as additive for tungsten element in steel-making. Tungsten in steel can combine with other element to complex carbonization. Then the rigidity in high temperature, abrasion resistance and intension for striking are improved.

	The main usage of Ferromolybdenum is to make alloy steel. Ferromolybdenum is used widely in making a series of steel such as constructional steel, spring steel, bearing steel, tool steel, acid resistance stainless steel, heat-resisting steel and alnico.

	The main usage of ferrovanadium is to make alloy steel. Ferrovanadium is also used widely in make spring steel, bearing steel and cast iron.

	Ferrochrome is a finishing material which contains about 70% chromium alloyed with iron. It is used when it is desired to add chromium to steel.
